If you're having trouble transferring your tickets from Ticketmaster, check what's happening and follow the corresponding instructions.
Ticket Transfer availability depends on each event and ticket type. In some cases, the feature may become available as the event date approaches.
Select the issue you're experiencing to find a solution.
If you don't see the Transfer option or it appears disabled, your tickets may not be eligible for transfer.
This can happen when:
- The organizer, artist, or venue doesn't allow transfers for the event or the section of your tickets.
- Transfer hasn't been enabled for the event yet.
- The event was canceled.
- The event has already taken place.
- The venue doesn't offer the transfer feature yet.
What can I do?
- Sign in to your Ticketmaster.com.mx account.
- Go to My Tickets and select the corresponding order.
- Check whether the Transfer option appears.
- If the option doesn't appear or is disabled, check your account again later, since for some events transfer may become available as the event date approaches.
Important: Ticket Transfer availability depends on each event and may change. If the feature becomes available later, the Transfer option will appear for your eligible tickets.
You can also check the options available for your event in the purchase confirmation email or on the venue's official website.
To start a transfer, you need to access the Ticketmaster account where your tickets are located.
If you're having trouble signing in, try the following:
- Confirm that you're using the correct account information for the account where your tickets are located.
- Try signing in from a different browser or device.
- Try using a different internet connection.
- If you use a VPN, Apple Private Relay, or a similar service, temporarily disable it and try again.
If you don't remember your password, try resetting it.
What should I do if I don't receive the code to reset my password?
If you requested a code to reset your password and didn't receive it, keep the tab where you made the request open and request a new code.
Once you can access your account again, go to My Tickets and check that the Transfer option is available.
If you still can't sign in, see I can't sign in to My Account.
I don't receive the code to confirm my transfer
To transfer your tickets, you'll receive a one-time code by text message (SMS).
If the first code doesn't work:
- Stay on the same screen without exiting the process.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Select Request a new one.
- Enter the new code and select Confirm.
If you don't receive the code, click Contact Us to receive assistance.
To learn more about this process, see Important Information About Two-Factor Authentication.
If you sent the tickets and the transfer is still pending, it means that the other person hasn't completed the acceptance yet.
What can I do?
- Sign in to your Ticketmaster account and check the transfer status.
- Confirm that the recipient's email address or phone number is correct.
- Ask them to check their email or text messages (SMS), depending on the method used to send the invitation.
- If you sent the invitation by email, remind them to check their Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders.
- If you used a phone number, confirm that the text message with the invitation was sent successfully.
As long as the transfer is still pending, you can cancel it and start a new transfer.
