If you changed your phone number, lost access to your email address, or some of the information registered on your account is no longer available, here you’ll find what to do based on your situation.
If you no longer have access to your registered phone number, what you need to do will depend on whether you can still log in to your account and whether you have tickets for upcoming events.
If you still have access to your current number and want to register a new one
You can update your phone number directly from your account. Make the change from a browser:
- Sign in to your Ticketmaster account.
- Go to My Profile.
- Select Profile Details.
- Find the Phone Number section.
- Select Update Number.
- Enter the new phone number you want to register.
- Confirm the new number.
See our article How do I update my phone number? for more details.
Important: Access Ticketmaster from your device’s or computer’s browser to complete this process.

If you no longer have access to your number and do not have upcoming events
If you can no longer use your registered number and your account does not have tickets for current or upcoming events, you may need to create a new Ticketmaster account using your current information.
Use an email address different from the one associated with your previous account and register a phone number you can access.
If you have access to your phone number but the message does not arrive, try these options first:
- Select Request a new code.
- Confirm that your phone has a signal.
- Check that Airplane Mode and Do Not Disturb are turned off.
- Make sure your phone has the latest software updates installed.
- Check that no app is blocking or filtering your SMS messages.
- Restart your phone.
If you are traveling, check with your mobile carrier to confirm that your service allows you to receive SMS messages in your current location.
Avoid requesting several codes within a short period of time. If the message takes time to arrive, wait a few minutes before requesting a new one. Requesting multiple codes in a row may cause you to enter an earlier code that is no longer valid.
If you still do not receive the message after completing these steps, contact your mobile carrier first to confirm that your line can receive SMS messages. If the issue continues, contact Fan Support.
Please note: SMS service availability may vary by country or region.
If you no longer use the registered email address, changed your email address, or permanently lost access to it, the solution will depend on whether you can still log in to your account.
If you can still log in to your account
See our article How do I change my email address? for steps to register a new email address.
Once you make the change, use your new email address for future access to your account.
If you do not have access to your email and do not have tickets for upcoming events
If you cannot regain access to your account and do not have tickets or upcoming events associated with it, you may need to create a new account with an email address different from the one previously registered.
Make sure you use an email address you can access.
If you can no longer log in because you do not have access to your registered email address
If losing access to your email prevents you from logging in to or recovering your account, contact Fan Support for guidance.
If you have tickets for an upcoming event, mention this when requesting assistance and have the information related to your purchase available.
If you misspelled your email address when creating your account or making a purchase, first identify whether you have tickets associated with that account.
If you do not have tickets associated with the account
Create a new account using your correct email address.
Remember that an email address can only be associated with one Ticketmaster account.
If you made a purchase
Do not make another purchase.
- Check that you signed in using the same email address used for the purchase.
- Confirm that the email address does not contain any typos.
- If you confirm that you used an incorrect email address and have tickets for an upcoming event, contact Fan Support for assistance.
