Last updated on 23.02.2026
This Travel and Experience Policy applies to all accommodation reservations, ticket and accommodation packages, and experiences purchased on or through our websites and applications, including but not limited to https://www.ticketmaster.com.mx/ (our “Site” as defined below).
When you make reservations or purchases of accommodations, ticket and accommodations packages or experiences through the Site, you agree to be bound by this Travel and Experience Policy, as well as our Terms of Use(“Terms”) and our Privacy Notice as updated from time to time, and you agree to comply with the terms and conditions set forth by our providers (as defined below). This policy does not apply to the purchase of event access tickets.
In the event that the controller of your personal data is one of our providers, we recommend you to review the privacy notice that each of them makes available to you.
NOTICE OF FUTURE CHANGES TO TERMS: At any time, as detailed in Section 10 below, we may update this Travel and Experiences Policy as well as our policies (defined in Section 3 below).
1 Parties
This Travel and Experiences Policy, along with our Terms of Use, is a legally binding agreement between you, the user (“you” or “your”) and us. We use the terms “we”, “us”, “our” and “ours” to refer collectively to Venta de Boletos por Computadora, S.A. de C.V., having its address in Independencia No. 90, Colonia Centro, Alcaldía Cuauhtémoc, C.P. 06050, Mexico City, Mexico (“Ticketmaster”), Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. (“Live Nation”) and all parents, subsidiaries, representatives, affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents of Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
Ticketmaster has a Federal Taxpayer Registry number: VBC910617SR1. Ticketmaster also offers you the following means of contact: (i) through the “Help Button” in the Ticketmaster account, (ii) through social networks via Facebook at @TicketmasterMexico, via X at @ServicioTM, and (iii) through the following Form.
Live Nation's most recent 10-K report, which is publicly available at https://investors.livenationentertainment.com/sec-filings/annual-reports, includes a list of Live Nation's subsidiaries (including, for example, Live Nation Worldwide, Inc., among others).
If you purchase a Travel Experience (as defined below in Section 2) on behalf of another person or for a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that person, company or other legal entity to the terms of this Travel and Experiences Policy, that the person, company or other legal entity has authorized you to purchase on his/her behalf, and that the references to "you" and "your" also refer to and apply to that person, company or other legal entity.
“Site” means our websites and mobile applications including but not limited to https://www.ticketmaster.com.mx/ and our tickets, products and services.
Any term used in this Travel and Experiences Policy that is not defined has the meaning attributed to it in the Terms.
2 Who We Are and Who You Are Buying From
We work as intermediaries with hotels, accommodation establishments and other independent providers within the hotel inventory (each, an “Accommodation Provider”), as well as with local companies and individuals who organize events (each, an “Experience Provider”), such as artists, venues, restaurants, exhibitors, animators, teams, fan clubs, promoters, record labels, recreational spaces and leagues, to offer accommodation reservations, ticket and accommodation packages, and other experiences (each a “Travel Experience”). We refer collectively to accommodation Providers and Experience Providers as “Providers”.
When you purchase a ticket for a Travel Experience that will take place in Mexico, Ticketmaster will take care of the transaction and charge what will be paid to the Providers.
For purposes of this Travel and Experiences Policy, Ticketmaster is the registered vendor.
3 Other Policies
In addition to this Travel and Experiences Policy, we have “Other Policies” that apply when you use the Site, specifically:
The Terms of Use explain your rights and responsibilities when using the Site.
Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle the personal information you provide to us.
If this Travel and Experiences Policy is in conflict with any of the other policies, the terms of this Travel and Experiences Policy will govern with respect to that conflict.
4 Your Acceptance of this Travel and Experiences Policy
By purchasing or making a reservation for any Travel Experience through the Site, you agree on behalf of all persons listed in the reservation that:
- You are at least of legal age in both (a) your place of residence and (b) where the Travel Experience you are booking will take place;
- All members of your group are of appropriate age to participate in the Travel Experience and you will prevent the use of any Travel Experience by minors or persons who for some other reason are not eligible or authorized to use such service;
- You accept financial responsibility for all payments related to your reservations, including those on behalf of all persons listed in the reservation; and that
- You will inform all persons listed in the reservation that they agree to be bound by this Travel and Experiences Policy and the Terms, including all rules and restrictions applicable to you and them.
5 Descriptions of the Accommodations
Accommodation Providers offer information regarding their category or qualification in accordance with the applicable regulations where they are located. The quality and services offered by Accommodation Providers may differ depending on their location, regardless of whether they are in the same category or are operated by the same Accommodation Provider. We provide you with the information provided to us by our Accommodation Providers and therefore we cannot guarantee the accuracy of that information. We recommend that you confirm the information directly with the Accommodation Provider, including any current adverse conditions of the property, or renovations or constructions in or near the Accommodation, of which we may not be aware.
6 Provider Requirements
Providers may have separate age and eligibility requirements and restrictions on the use of their products and services, including separate terms, conditions, rules and exclusions related to those requirements and restrictions. You and those who travel with you and participate in any Travel Experience are subject to those age and other eligibility requirements; there are no refunds if one or more persons do not meet those requirements and restrictions. Therefore, it is your responsibility prior to the purchase to ensure that you and those traveling with you meet such requirements and inform those traveling with you about all such requirements and restrictions.
7 Accessibility and Special Requests
If you or any member of your group has a medical problem or disability that may affect your reservation, please provide the corresponding providers with all the details before making your reservation so they can try to advise you on the accessibility and appropriateness of the option you have chosen. If the Provider is unable to adequately meet the needs of the persons concerned, we suggest that you do not make a reservation through our Site in respect of such Provider.
All special requests must be made in writing directly to the Provider (for example: diet, location, folding bed, cot, cradle, refrigerator or any other installation request or specific experience). Because we act as an intermediary exclusively, we are not responsible for or warrant any special requests made during the checkout process, regardless of whether the request is entered on your confirmation sheet or any other document. An additional charge may apply for special requests. We do not accept reservations that are conditional upon fulfillment of any special request.
8 Prices
When you make a reservation, you agree to pay the full price of the Travel Experience, including any applicable taxes and fees (described below), which will be provided to you at the time of final payment. The amount paid at the time of reservation excludes any parking, resort or other fees that the Provider or competent authorities may charge before or after your arrival or attendance to the Experience. After making the reservation, you also agree to pay all additional charges (described below).
Market prices for Travel Experiences are subject to change at any time and we do not guarantee that you will be able to purchase a Travel Experience for the price shown on our Site until you have completed the payment process. However, in the absence of an error (see Section 11 below), price changes will not affect (up or down) the price you paid in the last step of the transaction, as detailed in your Order Confirmation.
All prices are expressed in Mexican Pesos unless otherwise stated and a breakdown of applicable taxes is included. Occasionally we may offer discounted Travel Experiences after the original sale date and will not refund the difference between the original price and the discounted price. The price you pay for any experience may vary from the face value of each experience, whether purchased separately or not.
Facilitation and Service Fees: We negotiate with our providers to facilitate accommodation reservations, ticket and accommodation packages, events and other experiences, and we also offer Customer Service after your reservation. By booking a Travel Experience, you agree that we are providing services to facilitate the process and then the Travel Experience in exchange for facilitation and service fees that are integrated into the overall price of the Travel Experience.
Incidental Charges: Unless otherwise stated, your Travel Experience excludes taxes or any parking, resort or any kind of other fees that the Provider or competent authorities may charge before or after your arrival or attendance to the Experience including, but not limited to, long distance telephone charges, room service, in-room movies, damage or theft to property, use of mini-bar and other similar services (“Incidental Charges”). All incidental charges must be paid directly to the Provider. Upon arrival, some providers may ask you for a deposit or withhold on your credit card to cover additional charges.
Taxes and Related Fees: You are responsible for paying all taxes, tax equivalents, customs duties, and other government or municipal charges that must be covered in connection with your reservation. In some places, you may be subject to a local tax, such as a “visitor tax,” a “city tax,” or a “tourist tax”. In some locations, we may apply tax recovery charges, which are the estimated taxes payable to the Accommodation Provider for taxes that must be covered on your room rate. If a tax recovery fee applies, Accommodation Providers bill or charge us directly and then remit those taxes to their local tax authority; these amounts will vary by location. We may provide you with an estimate of applicable rates and local taxes (or tax recovery charges) applicable to each individual reservation at the time of booking or locally upon arrival. We are not co-sellers with our Providers. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Applicable rates and local taxes may change at any time. As a result, we will not be liable for any losses, costs or damages arising out of or related to such estimates. It is your sole responsibility to confirm the full cost of applicable taxes and fees.
9 Purchase of Travel and Experiences and Billing
When searching for and purchasing Travel Experiences in our Site, use only one browser window; multiple windows may cause errors during purchase.
To receive your tickets after booking and purchasing a Travel Experience through the Site, you must have an active Ticketmaster account. You shall provide the correct and complete information requested in the registration form for the successful creation of your account. This form consists of (i) full name; (ii) email; (iii) country in which you are located; (iv) postal code; and (v) preferred language. Please refer to our Terms of Use for information on account registration.
We accept various payment methods when purchasing Travel Experiences, including major credit cards. With respect to purchases covered by this Travel and Experiences Policy, we do not accept Ticketmaster Gift Cards.
When making a purchase, make sure the information you provide is accurate and valid. Do not place (or attempt to place) an order with false, misleading, incorrect or incomplete information that cannot be verified as yours or that you do not have the right to use. If you do, we reserve the right to cancel your order at any time. If your order is canceled for any of the reasons set out above, we may sell your Travel Experience to another Client without notice. We do not accept any responsibility for such cancellations.
Purchases are subject to credit or debit card verification (if applicable), other security checks and receipt of payment by us and our Providers. Purchases will only be processed after the billing address associated with your credit card and other billing information has been verified. Your order may be canceled if you do not pass our verification process or if a full payment is not received. In rare circumstances, if the partner bank or payment provider withdraws your payment, we reserve the right to cancel and refund any orders you have placed, even if we have already sent you an order confirmation.
We only issue bills for service charges. To bill the service charges, you will need to enter your tax data and have your Travel Experience Ticket on hand to provide all purchase information, such as your code and your reference number. According to the tax legislation, the invoice will be sent by email.
To provide you with a better service, we suggest that your invoice request is submitted 5 days after the purchase of the ticket, to receive your tax proof in time.
To make any change to the invoice (called CFDI in Mexico), you may request its correction via the email indicated in the first section of this Travel and Experiences Policy, for which you must attach the CFDI and inform us of the requested change and the reason therefor. Any changes must be requested within the same month in which you made your purchase. If the request is made in a different month, we will not be able to make the change as the applicable law does not allow it.
In case you need an invoice for the face value of your ticket, you must request this from the Corresponding Provider.
10 Order Confirmation
Once you have successfully placed an order, you will be directed to a confirmation page and/or you will receive a confirmation email (each of them, an “Order Confirmation”). Upon receipt, please verify the confirmation of your order to verify its accuracy. (See “Errors” below). If you do not receive an Order Confirmation after submitting the payment information, or if you receive an error message or experience a service interruption after submitting the payment information, it is your responsibility to verify your account and confirm if your order was placed correctly as (for example) order confirmations may have been sent to your junk mail folder, depending on your email settings, or there may be processing errors or some other type of error or problem that prevents confirmation. You may not cancel an order based on an actual or alleged failure to receive the Order Confirmation, and we are not responsible for any loss if you do not receive an Order Confirmation, but assume that it was (or not) made.
Once you make a reservation and receive a confirmation, the reservation is final and you will not be able to make changes. If you have any questions, please contact us.
11 Errors
We work hard to ensure that our Site is accurate and error-free, but these can occur. We are not responsible for any typographical or system errors within the inventory shown for sale. Examples of errors include, but are not limited to, the ability to request a Travel Experience prior to its scheduled sale or pre-sale date or before it was supposed to have been launched for sale, or an improperly processed refund.
If we discover an error while processing your order, we will inform you as soon as possible. We may cancel your order and issue a full refund, or we may give you the option to confirm your order with the correct information, for example, at the correct price if it is lower (in which case we will credit you accordingly). If we are unable to contact you, you agree that we may treat the order as canceled and issue you a full refund, without any liability or additional communication. We will not be responsible for the travel or any other expenses incurred by you or any other person in the event that you have provided incorrect information while processing your order.
If you receive a refund that was processed in error or exceeds the original amount paid, you grant us permission to reload the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
It is your responsibility to verify your order confirmation and tickets immediately upon receipt. If there is an error with your tickets, or if you do not receive your tickets as requested and/or as described in your order confirmation, please contact us immediately.
12 Travel Experience Itinerary
Your Travel Experience itinerary is subject to change and we reserve the right to replace it with a similar Travel Experience of equal or greater value.
Artists or bands performing before the attraction and/or lead artist (each of them, an “Opening Act”) sometimes tour with the lead artists. We do not always know who is going to be in the Opening Acts or the duration of their performances. Artists participating in events with multiple artists (such as festivals), individual members of a band, actors or comedians in theater performances, athletes of a sports team, the support cast, team members or guest speakers (each of them, a "Participant") as well as the Opening Acts, are subject to change or cancellation at any time, without prior notice. No refund will be granted due to a change or cancellation of a Participant or an Opening Act.
13 Travel Experiences Canceled, Postponed, Rescheduled or Moved
The date, time and place of the Travel Experience are subject to change. Occasionally, Providers cancel, postpone, reschedule or move events to a different date or a very different time. We have no control over these changes. Except as described below, we are not responsible for travel, accommodation or any other kind of expenses incurred by you or anyone else in connection with a canceled, postponed, rescheduled or moved event.
You are solely responsible for contacting your insurance provider (if applicable) regarding, and for determining eligibility, the refund of any fees related to a cancellation.
A. Travel Experiences Canceled
Cancellation of the entire Travel Experience: If your entire Travel Experience is canceled, no action is required to obtain a refund; we will issue a full refund to the original payment method used at the time of purchase once funds are received from the corresponding Providers. (See “Refunds” below). Service fees, insurance and other related costs may not be refundable under the circumstances and as indicated at the time of purchase.
Cancellation of Accommodation: If we or the Accommodation Provider cancel your Accommodation reservation, we will make reasonable efforts to offer you an alternative accommodation offer of a comparable or higher level. The rest of your Travel Experience purchase will remain valid and non-refundable.
Cancellation of Experiences: If a portion of your Travel Experience package (such as a tour, restaurant, concert or sporting event experience) is canceled, we will refund the price you paid for that portion of the Travel Experience package and any related service fees, additional add-ons or upgrades. (See “Refunds” below). Your accommodation remains subject to the cancellation policy indicated at the time of booking and on the confirmation of your reservation, and the rest of your Travel Experience purchase will remain valid and non-refundable.
B. Travel Experiences Postponed, Rescheduled or Moved
If your Travel Experience is postponed, rescheduled or moved, we will attempt to contact you to inform you of the status of the event and inform you of any refund or exchange procedures. For accurate instructions for a specific Travel Experience, please check the event information online and in your account (which will include the most up-to-date information on the status of the event) or contact us.
Your Travel Experience (including any additional add-ons or upgrades) remains valid and no further action is required. However, Providers may approve refunds, or the option to choose between a refund or credit; any refund and/or credit policies are determined by Providers, event by event, and may be subject to limitations set by Providers.
If Providers approve refunds and/or credits, we will send you an email notification explaining your options (including the deadline for selecting an option) and you can submit a refund or credit request. Alternatively, you can simply keep your ticket(s) for the postponed, rescheduled or moved Travel Experience.
If you booked an accommodation through our Site other than a Travel Experience, your accommodation is subject to the cancellation policy indicated at the time of booking and on the confirmation of your reservation.
Service fees, insurances and other associated costs may not be refundable, depending on the circumstances and as indicated at the time of purchase.
For any question, please contact us at the contact details referred to in the first paragraph of this Travel and Experiences Policy.
14 Refunds
All Ticket Packages, Accommodation and Experience Packages are Final and Non-transferable. Refunds are only available in limited circumstances, as set forth in this Travel and Experiences Policy. There are no refunds if you are unable to attend for any reason, including due to illness, emergency, disability or failure to obtain or qualify for transportation and travel, or unexpected circumstances. (See “Transportation and Travel Requirements” below).
Accommodation reservations are subject to the accommodation cancellation policy indicated at the time of booking and in the confirmation of your reservation. Early departure from an accommodation (for example, before the scheduled departure date) will result in a cancellation of the unused days of your reservation.
If your Travel Experience or part of your Travel Experience is eligible for a refund and funds have been received from the Experience Provider, this is what will happen:
- We will refund the price you paid for any part of your Travel Experience that is eligible for refund and any related service fee and additional add-ons or upgrades. (See “Travel Experiences Canceled, Postponed, Rescheduled or Moved").
- If there is an account or accounts that have outstanding balances to be covered, we reserve the right to withhold refunds until any outstanding balances are covered.
- In case you have acquired merchandise or memberships in a Fan Club within your Travel Experience, these may be non-refunded.
- There are no partial refunds, i.e. if you decide the refund or credit, it will be applied to your entire order.
- All refunds will be processed using the original payment method used at the time of purchase. We cannot issue a refund to a different credit or debit card.
- The timing of your refund will vary depending, for example, on when we receive funds from Providers and whether we have your updated payment information in our files.
- Refund requests are final and cannot be changed once initiated.
For ticket refunds through the Ticketprotector Extended Service, please see our Terms and Conditions.
15 Transportation and Travel Requirements
We do not represent or warrant that traveling to any particular destination is advisable or risk-free, and we will not be liable for any costs, damages or losses resulting from travel to such destinations. Unless stated in writing, airline reservations and other means of transportation are not included in your Travel Experience. You will not be entitled to a refund if you are unable to participate in your Travel Experience because you did not get proper transportation.
It is your responsibility to verify and comply with passport, visa, health and immigration requirements applicable to your itinerary. You should check the requirements applicable to your specific circumstances, for example, with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates and with your own doctor. Requirements change and you must timely confirm that you comply with them prior to departure, participation and/or attendance at any Travel Experience.
We accept no liability if you are unable to travel or incur any other loss because you did not meet the passport, visa, immigration or health related requirement including, but not limited to, ensuring that you have already received all necessary vaccinations to travel to your chosen destination, attend the chosen event or participate in the chosen Travel Experience.
16 Consent for Electronic Communications
You agree to receive electronic communications from us and our Providers relating to any transaction made on or through the Site. For example, you will receive an Order Confirmation link and a link so you can request for your ticket after you have purchased a Travel Experience. (See “Order Confirmation” above). If you do not request the shipment of the purchased tickets, we may send you one or more periodic reminders by email. You may also receive updates about your Travel Experience. To do so, we will communicate with you by email or by posting notices on or through the Site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we send to you electronically satisfy the legal requirement that communications must be done in writing. If you unsubscribe from our marketing communications, you agree that we may continue to send you communications related to your activities using the Site, as well as any transactions you make on the Site.
17 Insurance
Insurance is your sole responsibility and event ticket protection may be available for the ticket component of your experience. If you wish, make sure your insurance fully covers all of your personal requirements, including pre-existing medical conditions, cancellation charges (including but not limited to canceling events), medical expenses and repatriation in the event of an accident or illness. In addition to the limitations and exclusions set forth elsewhere in the Ticketmaster Terms, we are not responsible for any loss, expense, injury, damage, delay or other costs or claims that such insurance may have covered.
18 Disclaimer of Warranties and Release of Liability
Where the Provider Terms are in conflict with our Terms, our Terms shall take precedence over the Provider Terms, except in the event that Provider may impose additional or different eligibility and age requirements. You agree that it is your responsibility to confirm such eligibility requirements before purchasing a Travel Experience.
PROVIDERS ARE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS AND NOT OUR AGENTS OR EMPLOYEES; WE DO NOT ENDORSE OR RECOMMEND ANY OF THEIR OFFERS, PRODUCTS OR SERVICES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY FEDERAL CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW OR ANY OTHER APPLICABLE LAW, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE, AND YOU HEREBY RELEASE US, FOR ANY ACTS, REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, ERRORS OR OMISSIONS, INDIRECT OR DIRECT AND OF ANY KIND BY THE PROVIDER (COLLECTIVELY REFERRED TO AS, “ACTS OF THE PROVIDER”), INCLUDING PROPERTY DAMAGE, DIMINISHED VALUE, PERSONAL INJURY, ACCIDENTS, LOSSES, DELAYS, IRREGULARITIES OR ANY OTHER INJURY, DAMAGES - WHETHER DIRECT, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT OR OTHERWISE-, DELAYS, DEVIATIONS, OR EXPENSES RESULTING FROM THOSE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ACTS OF THE PROVIDER, ACTS OF GOD OR ACTS OF A GOVERNMENT AUTHORITY, WHETHER OR NOT RESULTING IN YOUR INABILITY TO FULLY OR PARTIALLY ATTEND AN EVENT, EXPERIENCE, ACCOMMODATION OR ENTRY TO ANY OTHER PURCHASE MADE WITH OR THROUGH US.
Please refer to our Terms of Use for additional limits on our liability.
We make no further warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title and non-infringement.
19 RISK ASSUMPTION
You voluntarily accept all risks inherent to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether they occur before, during or after the Event. Prolonged exposure to music or loud noise can damage your hearing and we encourage you and all attendees to wear appropriate hearing protection at events. Special effects may be included in an event, which may include sound, audiovisual, pyrotechnic or lighting effects, which may not be suitable for people with photosensitive epilepsy or similar conditions.
Please refer to the Limitation of Liability section in the Terms for additional limits on our liability.
20 Attend Travel Experiences
You agree to abide by all existing rules, policies, terms and conditions of Providers (“Provider Rules”). You also agree to the following:
A. Your ticket may be revoked. A ticket is a revocable license and admission may be denied. Failure to comply with the Provider Rules will cancel your license to attend the event and there is no refund. Each Provider has the right to refuse admission or expel, without refund of any amount paid, any person whose conduct is deemed by management to be unsafe, disorderly, vulgar or abusive, or otherwise in breach of the Provider Rules; including non-compliance with public rules regarding sanitary measures.
B. You are subject to registration. You and your belongings may be registered upon entering the event. You agree to such registrations and waive any claim related to this, provided that applicable law permits them. If you choose not to consent to such registrations, you may be denied entry to the event without refund or other compensation. According to certain Provider Rules, certain items may not be entered into the facilities, including but not limited to: firearms, alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, cameras, recording devices, laser pointers, strobe lights, irritant devices (e.g., artificial rattles/noise makers), packages and containers.
C. Events are public and you can be recorded or photographed. You agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event, that your appearance and actions in and outside the venue of the event are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy regarding your actions or behavior in the event. You (or anyone benefiting from this reservation) grant permission to us, the Providers and our partners, licensees and assigns (including, without limitation, our brand and media partners) to use your name, image, likeness, acts, poses, play, game, display, movement and statement in any live or recorded audio, video or photograph display, or in any other transmission, display, publication or reproduction made during or at the event (whether before, during or after the play, game or presentation) for any purpose, in any way, in any medium or context now known or about to be developed in the future, without further authorization and you acknowledge that by attending a public event your image may be captured and reproduced without compensation to you or anyone acting on your behalf.
D. The announced start times of the events are subject to change. In addition, opening and closing times are not indicative of the start or end time of the presentation, when an artist is scheduled to perform or the duration of the artist’s presentation. These decisions are at the sole discretion of the Providers and are subject to change.
E. Entry is not guaranteed for late arrivals. Generally, every effort will be made to admit late arrivals at any of the appropriate event breaks, but entry is not guaranteed.
F. Virtual events are for personal purposes only. If you attend a virtual event, you may not record, copy, publicly display, transmit or distribute any virtual event through any means, resell views of a virtual event, or allow others to log into your account for the purpose of viewing a virtual event.
