What is Ticketprotector?
It is an extended service of Ticketmaster that consists of the refund of the nominal value of the price of the ticket or tickets, as well as the service charge and shipping costs where appropriate, in the case of non-attendance as described in the Terms and Conditions that occurs prior to the date of the event and that is directly associated with the cause of non-attendance at the event.
How does it work?
You can purchase Ticketprotector during checkout.
If you can’t attend for any of the reasons described in the Terms and Conditions, contact Fan Support and provide this Refund Request form.
You request must meet the following requirements:
- Submit the form between the date of non-attendance through up to 72 hours after the event is held.
- Indicate the cause of the absence and accompanying the refund requirements established in the Terms and Conditions.
Receive the refund of your ticket plus charges for service and shipping in the account with which you made your purchase.
What is protected?
The refund proceeds for the total amount paid per ticket (includes ticket price, service charge and, if applicable, shipping costs), when the purchase is less than $5,000.00 (five thousand pesos 00/100 MN). If the amount of the purchase per ticket (including the price of the ticket, service charge and shipping costs, if applicable) exceeds the amount of $5,000.00 (five thousand pesos 00/100 MN), the return will be up to the amount of $5,000.00 (five thousand pesos 00/100 MN), regardless of the total amount paid.
The refund in each case applies for each ticket that has not been used by the Holder or their first-degree relatives (by relative of the holder in the first degree is understood to be wife or common-law wife, children, father or mother) for the reasons for non-attendance indicated in these Terms and Conditions. It doesn’t include expenses such as transfers, lodging, medical services or any other. The refund will be made directly to the bank card with which the purchase was made.
How do I buy Ticketprotector?
If Ticketprotector is offered for the event, select the box and the number of Ticketprotectors corresponds to the number of tickets. The number should be reflected in the total price that appears before payment.
If you’re going to purchase your tickets through Ticketmaster Centers or the box office, be sure to mention to your operator that you wish to purchase the Ticketprotector service.
